Events
The Christ’s Kids Sports Ministry program will continue to grow a firm base of operations and outreach by offering multiple participation options for parents and children.

Sport Camps
For each camp and sport offered there are high-energy programs for kids. Camps
will have target themes and each day of camp will focus on specific life-building topics such as sportsmanship, determination and setting goals. At camp, children will learn both new sports skills, exercise, play games, discuss the Christian approach towards sports, and enjoy nutritious snacks. When possible CKSM will try to get local sports personalities to visit and share their skills and faith journeys with the children.

Sport Clinics
Will teach specific skills necessary to play a sport. They are planned, grouping
two to three sports per clinic while making them full day, semi-camps. Combining activities such as lunch, snacks and the sharing of His Word. This allows the Ministry to draw more kids and share Christ with larger numbers. Clinics that will be combined include: Lacrosse, Softball & Baseball, Jump Rope, Cheerleading & Dance, Basketball & Volleyball, and Soccer & Football. Clinics that will be specialized include: Bowling, Wrestling, and Golf & Tennis.

Outdoors Adventure Fair
There is one fair scheduled for this year. The Outdoor Adventure Fair will be held at Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek. California Fish and Game will be stocking and teaching the children all there is to know about fishing. There are many vendors
and suppliers committed to this event and it should prove to be a winner for our Lord.

Family Outings
Families are encouraged to come out and as a family unit or with friends for this
event. It will be a great time for sharing and meeting of new and old friends. There is one Family Outing scheduled this year. It will be a hike and barbecue. See schedule for details.

Other Clinics
Clinics such as Health and counseling seminars will be an added differentiator and value-added ministry service offered at Christ’s Kids Sports Ministry Sports Camp. The family health seminar will teach parents & children the ins & outs about eating healthy, different ways to work out and locations available for exercising. The family-counseling seminar will inform parents of the options available to themselves and their children. It will also help them in knowing where and how to get the help they may need.

Community Programs
We are reaching out to those children who may be in need of special assistance. This need can come in several forms. Children can be from broken families, in financial distress and disabled or handicapped.
