About CKSM

Christ’s Kids Sport’s Ministry is unique from other organized sports activities in that everything done in this program is:

Biblically Solid. The Ministry will commit to teaching the life-changing Word of God, and nothing should detract from the clear teaching of His truth. (2 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 40:8; Psalm 119:89-96, 105)

Child Affirming. This will be a Ministry where children are treasured and will feel loved, accepted, and valued. The Lord can use children to make a difference, and encourage them to discover and develop their gifts in ministering to others. (Matthew 19:13-15; 1 Timothy 4:12)

Creative & Fun. Everybody learns better when they are having fun, and our teachings should strive to captivate our children's hearts, minds, imaginations, and souls, while accommodating different learning styles and levels. Our Lord is not boring, nor is His house. (Psalm 34:8; Psalm 8)

Application Oriented. We will teach not merely to inform, but to transform hearts and lives. We want every child to understand how God's truth makes a difference in their daily life. (James 1:22, 25; 1 Timothy 4:12)

Relationship Building. The most powerful lesson we can teach is through our own example. Our volunteers, participating parents and staff will make each child feel appreciated and loved, while encouraging friendships among the families of our clinics and leagues. (John 13:34; Deuteronomy 6:1-9)
